An extended semi input-output method for estimating shadow prices

The semi input-output (SIO) method for estimating shadow prices is extended to include conversion factors for primary factors within the columns of the SIO table. Using this method the conversion factors are derived without the need of successive iterations, and the many post-multiplications necessary with the Leon-tieffinverse matrix to obtain a final stable solution are avoided. No supplementary information external to the extended SIO table is required. The method described thus offers several advantages over its predecessor.
