From BIM requirements to facility management BIM process scenario in a hospital building

The Research Programme aimed to investigate how to manage a Building Information Model in order to begin the Outline Design Stage with the Facilities Management in mind. The Research Group, belonging to Politecnico di Milano and Universita degli Studi di Brescia, closely co-operated with a large Italian Contractor, CMB. A case study has been exploited dealing with the refurbishment and extension of hospitals located into the Lombardy Region.
