Business Intelligence Application for Multidimensional Analysis of Risks in Complex Projects

The use of business intelligence (BI) technology for multidimensional data analysis has already broken the paradigm of business and can be considered a multidisciplinary approach in information technology. This article proposes the BI application for multidimensional analysis of risks in complex projects. In a case study, the proposed method is applied to the Line 15-Silver monorail system of the Sao Paulo Metropolitan (Metro) company. Simulations conducted using the BI prototype system satisfactorily confirm the technical-scientific feasibility of the proposed technique.
