OSHA and American Pipeline Contractors Association (APCA) have renewed their alliance to protect workers from serious job hazards during equipment operation, hydrostatic testing and trenching, and excavation. Under the new 2-year agreement, the groups will share information on worker rights, employer responsibilities and standards through forums, exhibits and stakeholder meetings. APCA addresses safety, environmental and security issues within the pipeline industry, and represents approximately 14,000 workers and more than 40 member companies.
