AT&T's DriveMode app is designed to curb sending text messages while driving. Free for AT&T customers, the app automatically sends a customizable reply to incoming texts, notifying send ers that the user is driving and unable to respond. The auto-response is simi lar to an out-of-office e-mail alert.
