In 2012, digital technology training organisation Freeformers rolled out lethargy-busting breakfast and lunches for staff and clients involved in its full-day workshops. The group, which is a social enterprise that charges blue-chip corporations for its training services so that it can offer identical courses for free to young people, worked with nutritionist Aliza Margory at Inessa Wellness to devise a daily meal plan that would banish the usual postprandial lull and keep everyone alert for the entire day. The result was a gourmet menu that includes canapes and dried fruit for breakfast, and nourishing soups, nutritious salads and elaborate tartlets for lunch.
