RECENTLY I TOYED with the idea of making a phone call while at the wheel. No hands-free, no paired phone - just picking up the mobile, entering a number manually and conducting a conversation while driving my Honda saloon at 7omph. Dangerous? Yes, it's why I didn't do it -but also the reason I nearly did.
