This issue, Heather Melville graces our cover, the first black woman to do so. That it has taken this long is frankly embarrassing, but, rather than hide it, I'm going to call it out and celebrate it. As Heather herself pointed out at the end of our interview, the timing is perfect. October is Black History Month, after all.
