摘要

Skills shortages in the nuclear industry are being addressed by two initiatives involving companies in the sector and leading academic institutions. Imperial College London is working with Nexia Solutions, one of the UK's largest employers in nuclear science and technology, to develop "industry-ready" graduates. Meanwhile, the universities of Central Lancashire and Portsmouth have been selected by the National Skills Academy for Nuclear to develop foundation degrees for the nuclear sector.
