Steel link continues at the EEf

One steelmaker goes; another steelmaker arrives. The revolving door at the Engineering Employers' Federation has ushered in Martin Temple, Sheffield steel industry executive, to replace Graham Mackenzie as director-general. Mackenzie has already gone back to the steel industry from whence he too came. Temple isn't quite sure why there should be such a strong connection between the EEF and the steel industry, except that, as sales and distribution director for stainless producer Avesta-Sheffield and in other steel industry posts over the previous 20 years, he felt "engineering was always close".
