The application of mobile devices can support op erators' tasks without distracting them from their core duties. Building upon acquired and digitally stored production data, these devices provide dif ferent user-specific information and services when required. A practical example from corrugation in dustry highlights advantages of mobile devices in the field of manufacturing.
