Online Material Flow Simulations for Decision Support in Production Planning and Control

摘要

Simulations are used before the start of production in many productions and complement ERP as well as MES. To support the planning and control efficiently by means of simulations, the models must be updated with the current shop floor data. The simulations are used to validate planning alternatives. For this purpose, a coupling of the simulation with the other IT systems must be carried out. A multi-agent-system on JADE and the data model CMSD forms the basis of this new approach.
