About 75% of in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments fail. Many factors determine success, including the age of the parents and the health of the embryo, but the relative importance of these variables is not well understood. Prajna Banerjee et al. (pp. 13570-13575) analyzed failed IVF attempts to provide a more accurate estimate of future IVF success compared to age-based estimates.
