摘要

This paper describes a newly developed 3-dimensional finite element method applied to a superposition method for calculating thermal stresses in massive concrete structures. It considers as exactly as possible elastic modulus development and creep behavior of concrete at early ages. It is used to investigate how much cracking is caused differences in thermal stresses in walls and foundation slabs as typical massive concrete structures corresponding to construction procedures.
