摘要

This paper discusses the applicability of large eddy simulation (LES) of the flows around a low-rise building in a turbulent boundary layer. The time-dependent turbulent inflow data was generated by means of the numerical technique, which directly simulates a spatially developing boundary layer using periodic boundary condition. A flow around the building placed in a turbulent boundary layer developed on a flat plate, was compared with that in a laminar boundary layer.
