Birmingham International Airport drainage and pollution control works

As part of its corporate environmental management strategy and in response to concerns of the National Rivers Authority, Birmingham International Airport plc commissioned a study of its operational effects on adjacent water courses. This paper outlines the main considerations of that study, known as the Drainage and Pollution Control Study, and of the subsequent design and construction of the works arising from it.
