Logistical Instruments for Managing Companies

The author recommends using a systematic approach to management of logistical processes for the companies seeking to increase their competitive abilities.Currently, the high-tech reequipping of the domestic economy has been established as a goal. However, industry policy is still not strategic, systemic, and program-oriented, and the dominant methods of managing the economy are insufficiently effective for industrial companies or for the development of the country as a whole. In planning the economy, programs and plans for the development of industry are constructed on the basis of increasing the rate of production growth, which is insufficient in market conditions. Since the primary goal of contemporary economic management is to satisfy the consumer, the basic focus should be on selling products, and then on the flexibility of supply and demand. Therefore, the development of industry policy should be oriented toward the creation of beneficial conditions for the functioning of the entire logistical chain, which ensures the system-wide and efficient movement of the flow of materials.
