Commercial artists, advertising agencies and printers are well aware of the problems with spot colours like the costly ink changes, a reduced colour gamut when printing metallic colours and differences in colour swatches of spot colour systems available with different manufacturers. A new downloadable colour system, ECP, (Exact Colour Print) comes handy here to get an extended coiour gamut and to obtain better rendition of metallic colours in offset printing.
