A broad assortment of advertised materials, the selection of which, however, must be approached with proper caution, are currently on the construction market for the repair of concrete and reinforced-concrete components of water-development works and bearing structures of thermal electric power plants. In addition to basic requirements for materials used in repair operations at hydroelectric and thermal electric power plants, there are a number of specific requirements that have been brought to light by the conditions under which repair work is performed, the volume of repair work, the state and potential of the repair-construction base, and the conditions under which the structures operate.
