PRINCIPLES OF A NEW REGULATORY BASE OF ENGINEERING SURVEYS FOR HYDROTECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION

Technical regulations in the field of engineering surveys are developed for substantiation of designs and construction of water-power projects.rnOver a period of no less than the last fifteen years, one of the most serious problems of engineering surveys for water-power construction is the absence of a modern regulatory-methodical base. In all these years, engineering surveys verifying the design and construction of water-power structures have been regulated by departmental construction standards for geodetic-engineering, geologic-engineering, and hydro-meteorologic-engineering surveys for hydrotechnical construction, which were issued by the Energy Ministry of the USSR in 1988 - 1989.
