METHOD FOR VIBRATION DIAGNOSTICS OF TURBINE UNITS UNDER REPAIR USING THE VTI VIBRATION EXCITER AND MODERN MEANS OF VIBROMETRY

A method is presented for determining the compliance of the supports for turbine units under repair which uses a small sized vibrator and a multichannel automated system for vibration control and diagnostics. This method can be used to determine the resonances of the turbine-foundation-base system and of the turbine stator components in order to prevent damage to the equipment during operation.
