摘要

This paper introduces the concepts of design patterns andndemonstrates the potential of applying this technique for power systemnmodeling. Captured by experienced object-oriented designers, designnpatterns solve specific design problems and make object-oriented designsnmore flexible, extensible and elegant. This technique has beennsuccessfully applied in the design of a generic distribution circuitnobject model. Some of the more powerful design patterns, such as objectncomposition, delegation, recursive composition and proxy etc., have beenneffectively used to help determine modeling granularity, findnappropriate objects and achieve modeling flexibility. When properlynapplied, the design patterns can help solve many of the design problemsnin the object-oriented modeling of power systems
