摘要

The efficiency of wireless power transfer system is significantly affected by variations in the system's load resistance and the coils' coupling coefficient. For obtaining the maximum possible efficiency in different load resistances and coupling coefficients, a new maximum efficiency point tracking (MEPT) control method is proposed in this study. The proposed method realises the MEPT by converting the load impedance in real time and making the primary and the secondary resonant currents be a specific ratio. This specific ratio is determined by the equivalent series resistances of the primary and secondary circuits, which is independent of the coupling coefficient. The experimental results show that the maximum efficiency point can be tracked and the system efficiency can be improved by the proposed method.
