Power line carrier systems for industrial control applications

This paper addresses the potential applications ofnpower-line-carrier (PLC) communications technology within the field ofnindustrial plant/equipment control. The special needs and requirementsnfor this application (in terms of such factors as system integrity andnresponse times) are considered in comparison with those for other typesnof PLC application.
