This is the second in a two-part series for manufacturers and custom coaters on how to select a contractor to supply and install a powder coating system. The first part, published in the September issue, covered qualifying bids from contractors. This part covers preparing specifications, evaluating bids, and awarding the contract. The article lists information the owner should provide the contractor and the contractor should provide the owner to get the most suitable powder coating system for the application.
