BR Offshore Investimentos e Par-ticipacoes will build a services and logistical terminal in the city of Bar-ra do Furado, Rio de Janeiro State, which includes a repair shipyard for maintaining offshore support vessels. Operations should begin by the end of 2013. With investments of around R$ 450 million, the terminal will be built within the premises of the Complexo Logistico e Industrial Farol-Barra do Furado. The target is to attract the installation of oil and gas sector companies to the region.
