HMM cautious of investing in ultra-large container ships

South Korean integrated logistics and containerised freight transport company. Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) has taken a cautious approach to ultra-large container ships (ULCCs), as it announced an order for very large container ships (VLCCs). Company CEO Yoo Chang-keun told an industry conference on 5 April that the company would order VLCCs that month, and would order five smaller container ships, with capacities ranging from 2,500 to 3,000 teu.
