Marseilles seeks government approval as it moves on Fos expansion plans

The Port of Marseilles Authority is seeking early French government approval for major dredging works at Fos container terminal. The operation would improve depth alongside to 14 metres at the port's main box facility while paving the way for the Fos 2XL expansion project - designed to double capacity in the western harbour area to ImTEU by 2004.
