JARVIS WINS ISCA CROWN

We've reported on many of Brent Jarvis' creations in Popular Hot Rodding, including this '65 Corvette, which appeared in the March '11 issue (see "Ultimate Street Warriors"). Jarvis, an accomplished road racer and car builder (www. PerformanceRestorations.com), did the seemingly impossible by not only racing his pristine '65 Vette on the road course and autocross, but winning four ISCA "Best in Class" and four "Best of Show Street Machine" awards in four consecutive ISCA shows. The car was also a "Select Six" winner in the Chicago show. Jarvis went on to a Class Championship, which qualified his Vette for the ISCA finals, where it took the ISCA Street Machine Championship. Nice going, Brent!
