On the kinetic order of decomposition of polymeric hydroperoxides

摘要

The kinetic data accumulated up to date point to first-order decomposition of polymeric hydroperoxides. Among various approaches utilized in evaluation of the kinetic order of a reaction, simplicity and reliability of the method of half-lives is stressed and it is underlined that prevailing first order kinetics in condensed matter is the consequence of the well-known matrix non-uniformity.
