I am very pleased to announce that Professor Graeme A. George from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane (Australia), a long-standing member of the Editorial Board of Polymer Degradation and Stability, becomes Editor for General Degradation as of 1 July 2012. Professor Graeme George completed his PhD in Physical Chemistry at The University of Queensland in 1971 and commenced as a Research Scientist at the Defence Materials Research Laboratories, Melbourne, studying the fundamental processes of polymer degradation and stabilization.
