摘要

Establishment of Biomedical waste management is the main feature of the management of environment in the hospital area. From a perspective of sustainability, the enhancement of waste management methods of the medicalsector is anessential part ofitson the whole green strategy (Sanaa, 2014). Bio medical waste is formed in the process of diagnosis treatment, surgeries or vaccination of human being or for research purposes. Lots of wastes are generated by Hospitals and other health care centres continuously which are biological and it can spread infections like HIV and other dangerous diseases. In Indian hospitals, roughly 1.45 kg waste is formed by each patient in a day and it is 4.5kg in developed countries. About 20 percentage of waste is dangerous according to western figures, whereas, in India,it is higher as no proper disposal method is followed here. This paper focusing for biomedical waste disposal with innovative technology and research area selected at Salem, Tamilnadu, India hospitals.
