GREEN POLICE STATIONS

The Chicago Police Department, with the help of Chicago's Public Building Commission (PBC), is opening newer and greener police stations. The CPD's Englewood District Police Station opened to the public in March and became one of six Chicago police stations to receive U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
