Former Chief Constable Ronnie Flanagan recently visited the Royal Ulster Constabulary George Cross Foundation office to see how the Foundation's Oral History Project is shaping up. "I am very impressed with what I saw today. The Foundation has developed the original concept of an oral history of the RUC GC They have secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and are putting in place a user friendly computerised system providing access to the material gathered.
