Belleek is on the main road from Enniskillen to Finner Army Camp in Co. Donegal, and motor vehicles passing through the village containing soldiers, were taken as a matter of fact. When, on Sunday 5th September, 1920, an army ambulance containing two men dressed in khaki drove into Belleek there was little to comment on.
