Exploring the impact of structured foot health education on the rate of lower extremity amputation in adults with type 2 diabetes. A systematic review

摘要

The review focused on patient foot health education as a way of reducing/delaying the onset of diabetic foot complications in patients with diabetes. The results of this review show that diabetes foot education is beneficial; however the setting and the educational information should be tailored to meet the individual patient's needs, literacy level and learning objectives in order to enhance its benefits.
