Do you employ any staff? Whether you employ receptionists, podiatrists or other colleagues within your practice, all employers will have to provide workers with a workplace pension scheme by law over the next few years. This is called 'automatic enrolment'. The process as to when your business must start doing this (known as a 'staging date') depends on how many people you have on your payroll. To find out your staging date you can check with the pension regulator. You must, however, set up a workplace pension scheme before your staging date if you do not already offer one. If you already have a workplace pension scheme, you may already be able to use it for auto-enrolment.
