Department of Health AHP Officer witnesses the breadth of podiatry

On 2nd February, the Department of Health's Professional Officer for Allied Health Professionals, Alison Raw, was shown around Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust by Lawrence Ambrose, The Society's Lead Policy Officer, to witness some of the various aspects of the profession. The integrated acute & community Trust has over seven community podiatry clinics throughout Lewisham borough, Alison was able to observe a community ulcer clinic, podiatric surgery, an acute foot clinic and an musculoskeletal clinic all on the one site in the morning.
