Plastics Piping Systems Components IF names new chairperson

Uponor North America announced that Mary Kimlinger, codes and standards manager, has been named chairperson of the Plastics Piping Systems Components Industry Forum (IF). In her role, Kimlinger will manage the IF business and chair all meetings. The IF provides advice and guidance to the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) in the development, implementation and operation of its plumbing products and related materials certification program. The responsibilities of the IF include reviewing and providing comment on policies relating to the operation of the NSF certification program, reviewing draft NSF standards, and establishing subcommittees with assigned activities.
