Rainwater harvesting has become a mainstream part of water management, with rainwater storage now a longstanding requirement for most new builds, but consumers are looking to do more than meet minimum requirements, according to Ashley White from Australian water products' supplier Davey. Ashley says householders and businesses alike have recognised that a good rainwater harvesting system not only allows them to meet the requirements of development schemes like New South Wales' BASIX, but can also help them achieve better water quality, reliable supply and reduced cost.
