Cameco reports third-quarter loss of C$124 million due to Nukem writedown

Cameco wrote down the value of its uranium trading subsidiary Nukem at a cost of C$111 million (US$88 million), resulting in a net loss of C$124 million in the third quarter of 2017, the company said in a statement October 27 on its third-quarter financial results.
