The reduced production nwas caused by a shortage of parts after a mas-nsive earthquake and tsunami that jolted eastern nJapan on March 11. The company’s reduced out-nput impacted the Chinese market for sport utility nvehicles. The CR-V has been the best-selling SUV nin China for the last few years. In 2010, it sold n260,601 motor vehicles, up 23.74% over 2009.
