Australian explorer Poseidon Nickel has nreceived a waiver from formal assessment nby the Environmental Protection Agency nfor its proposal to restart operations at nthe idled Mount Windarra nickel mine nin Western Australia, the company said nTuesday. “This waiver means that the nWindarra nickel project remains on track nto achieve all of the necessary mining and nenvironmental approvals during the first nquarter of 2012,” said Poseidon. “Poseidon nis on track to complete its definitive fea-nsibility study by the end of 2011 and is ntargeting initial concentrate production in n2013,” the company added.
