Rusal, Italian officials discuss future of Eurallumina

The refinerynin Portovesme, Sardinia, is majority-ownednby Rusal following its buy out of UK-listednRio Tinto’s majority stake in 2006. The ministrynsaid in April that Rusal might considernrestarting operations if a solution werenfound to energy costs and an adequateninvestment plan were accepted by the government.
