West day-ahead on-peak prices dropped Monday as temperatures were expected to remain below normal in the day ahead. In California, SP15 day-ahead on-peak was down $2 to about $35.25/MWh on the IntercontinentalExchange for Tuesday delivery. The California Independent System Operator projected peak demand at about 37,475 MW for Monday and 34,675 MW for Tuesday.
