Demand-side resources — especially energy efficiency — are havingrnan increasing effect on the New England electricity sector, and may bernhelping to hold down the need for incremental natural gas pipelinerncapacity into the region.rnDemand-side resources totaling 2,746 MW cleared ISO NewrnEngland's recently concluded Forward Capacity Auction 10, whichrnselected supply- and demand-side resources for the 12 monthsrnstarting June 2019; 371 MW of the demand-side resources that clearedrnFCA 10 were new.
