Mass Hub stalls in upper $20s/MWh

Northeast power prices were mixed Monday as spot gas prices headed up, along with an uptick in expected demand as weather forecast called for lower temperatures. Mass Hub on-peak dropped 50 cents to about $27.75/MWh for Tuesday delivery on the IntercontinentalExchange. Off-peak added $2.50 to around $16.50/MWh. Balance-of-the-week on-peak fell $7.25 to almost $26/MWh. Next-week on-peak remained around $35/MWh.
