Mid-Atlantic and Midwest day-ahead power prices fell early Wednesday, with demand expected to decline across the long holiday weekend. PJM West Hub day-ahead on-peak fell about $3.50 to the mid-$20s/MWh for Friday delivery on the Intercontinental Exchange. For the Thanksgiving holiday, PJM West Hub on-peak also was valued in the mid-$20s/MWh. PJM West Hub on-peak weekend packages were in the mid-$20s/MWh. Looking at near-term packages, PJM West Hub on-peak next-week traded in the upper $20s/MWh to low $30s/MWh. The PJM Interconnection predicted peakload of around 100.4 GW Wednesday, 91.6 GW Thursday and 91.4 GW Friday.
