Plug Power furthers pursuit of offshore green hydrogen production in latest acquisition

The green hydrogen production company Plug Power has purchased the Dutch tech company Frames Group in its pursuit of developing offshore electrolysis projects, Plug Power CEO Andy Marsh said during the company’s third-quarter earnings call. The acquisition, announced Nov. 9, improves the company’s water processing capabilities and separation technologies and increases the reach of its electrolysis business across the globe, the company said.
