Plug Power furthers pursuit of offshore green hydrogen production in latest acquisition

The green hydrogen production company Plug Power has purchasedthe Dutch tech company Frames Group in its pursuit of developingoffshore electrolysis projects, Plug Power CEO Andy Marsh said duringthe company’s third-quarter earnings call.The acquisition, announced Nov. 9, improves the company’s waterprocessing capabilities and separation technologies and increases thereach of its electrolysis business across the globe, the company said.“We are thinking a great deal about offshore electrolyzers, andbetween Frames’ water management expertise and offshore platformexpertise, this is real value,” Marsh said.
